MS Dhoni had played 199 ODIs as a captain and it looked as though he will complete 200 games in Pune. But he has always had a particular proclivity to stun the people, let that be on the field with his exploits or off the field with his decisions.

BCCI has confirmed that he will be a part of the side as the wicket-keeper and with the ICC World Cup 2019 almost 2 years to go, many are calling this a fabulous call from the captain cool. India will also enter ICC Champions Trophy 2017 as the defending champions, having won the trophy previously in 2013.
